Promoted $25 becoming $12,398. The full paired trade made about $4,113 before gas.

  • Misleading return claim

A weather-trading promotion presented about $25 turning into $12,398. The featured account bought both sides repeatedly. Across the full Chicago market, it spent about $47,030 and made about $4,113 before gas. The post linked to the trader with a referral parameter.

In fairness

The video shows real figures, and the trader made money. Purchases were cumulative, not money tied up all at once.

The post may reflect a misunderstanding. Payment, referral earnings and deliberate deception are not established.

What the record shows

  1. 1The April post presented about $25 becoming $12,398 in one bet. Its video showed a real result row, but only one side of a paired position.

A frame from the handle’s own posted video shows the result rows.

  2. 2The account spent about $47,030 across repeated purchases of Yes and No. Pairing the two sides returned about $24,880; the remaining shares returned about $26,263. Net cash gain: about $4,113 before gas.

  3. 3The displayed $25 cost also differs from the actual purchases of that outcome. An outcome’s interface row does not show the cost and return of the complete paired trade.

Everything that must be said with these points

  • The displayed rows are authentic interface figures, not fabricated screenshots. Their allocated proceeds cannot be treated as the return on an isolated $25 investment.
  • ColdMath’s paired trades were profitable. This concerns the promoters’ presentation, not wrongdoing by the trader; no direction, payment or coordination by the trader is established.
  • Gross cumulative buys are not peak simultaneous capital and must not become a precise ROI denominator. ‘Spent across repeated buys’ is accurate; ‘risked all at once’ is not.
  • Bober’s headline closely matches the Chicago row. Slash’s $12,420 headline is approximate and does not exactly equal either visible UI amount; both named rows appear in its own video. Do not claim an exclusive exact numerical match for Slash.
  • Bober’s link contains the Polymarket r parameter; Slash’s profile link contains via and its copy-bot link contains start=ref_slash1sol. These are referral-tagged links, not proof of code ownership, earnings, clicks or paid promotion.
  • A misunderstanding of the interface remains possible. Neither knowledge nor intent is established, and paid-partnership label state is not determinable for these April posts.
  • The negative No-side interface rows are allocations within a profitable paired strategy, not standalone evidence of overall trading losses. Use complete condition cash, and qualify it as before gas.
